MY PERSONAL BRAND

My name is Natalia Pinto, I am a passionate student of International Relations at the Universidad del Rosario. Currently, I am also doing a double degree in Political Science and I am doing a minor in Marketing. I am part of two research hotbeds, the first called "Imaginarios por la Paz" and the second is on marketing and advertising. In high school, I always stood out for my achievements and my grades, especially for having a high level of English. I have always used my knowledge to make a difference in what I do and added to my responsibility, discipline, and punctuality, I always achieve what I set out to do. I am a faithful believer in peace and human rights. In my spare time, I draw, read, sing and knit. "Life is what happens while we're dreaming" 🔅🔅

  This outfit is a clear description of what I like to show as a person and as a brand. To begin with, my main goal when I dress is to show confidence, elegance, leadership, and transparency. Thus, combining wearing dark garments allows me to show elegance and leadership while wearing light garments in the upper part of my body allows me to show leadership and transparency. Likewise, the shape and design of certain garments help me to empower myself and feel more confident about the activities I do. In this case, the design of the blazer gives me confidence and allows me to show the seriousness and professionalism with which I work. Also, heels give me and allow me to show strength and leadership. Although sometimes wearing high heels can tire me faster, the truth is that it is an essential element in this type of outfit.

Summarizing the results that I expect with my personal brand in a single goal was really difficult. I have always wanted to be a person who impacts society and who can help as many people as possible. However, I have also thought about the importance of using my personal brand as a tool to grow personally, financially, and emotionally. In this way, I achieved two goals with my personal brand, because first I must use my personal brand to grow as a person and obtain the job opportunities I need, and then use it to have an impact on society.  

  In my life, it has always been difficult to find just one way to reach my goals. When I made the value proposition, it was very difficult to choose just one of the wide variety of things that I would like to do. However, when I thought about it seriously, I understood that I have always had the purpose of helping people, and towards this, I also understood that the best way to do it is through international organizations, whether governmental or not. Likewise, it was also difficult to find how to achieve that purpose. There are so many ways to achieve it and also so many ways to direct that purpose, that without a doubt I believe that this was the activity that cost me the most. However, in the end, I understood that I can use all my abilities and things that I like to do to achieve that purpose, especially using marketing as a fundamental tool to mix all the ingredients and have the best possible result.

One of the activities that I liked doing the most for my personal brand was the mood board. As I have mentioned in other posts on my blog, one of the activities that I like to do the most is designing and creating. My dashboard for my personal brand could not be the exception. As you will see on my board, one of the colors that I wanted to highlight the most was black. It is my favorite color. I consider black to be elegant, subtle, mysterious, and adaptable to all contexts. That is how I consider myself and clearly, I could not miss an activity as important to me as this was. Every detail of the design has a part of me: from the elements, the type of writing, the color palette, to the marble ribbons to give texture are essential parts of who I am as a person and what I want to show the world. I have always wanted to be a woman who looks empowered and confident in what she does. Thus, when I chose a famous person like Angela Merkel, I realized that I share many characteristics with her and her personality. Perhaps one of the secret purposes of this activity was to understand that many people we admire are with whom we have a lot in common and thus, have an idea of how to move towards achieving our goals and how we should fix our personal brand to achieve it.
